The majority of phones currently in use at SCCOE are at either end of support or end of life. We are replacing all Cisco phones with a new model. Old phones will be collected for trade-in to the vendor to offset part of the costs.

Please note:

• You will need to close any open applications on your computer before we can swap phones – you may want to logoff
• It takes between 5 and 10 minutes for the new phone to register and receive the configuration information
• If you have a wireless headset it may take additional time to swap the mechanical parts of the headset and lifter
• During the swap, you will not be able to use your computer or phone
• All new telephone models are speaker-phones
